We had the pleasure of documenting Common Deer (the band) 1st day of recording at Revolution Recording in Toronto, ON. The band reached out to us to do some behind the scenes video coverage as they began their journey recording their 1st full-length album. It was an incredible experience for us all! First time for me working in Revolution Recordings and honestly is one of the most beautiful recording studios I have ever set foot in.

Common Deer was recently supported by the Toronto Arts Council, Ontario Arts Council and FACTOR for a grant to fund their recording project. They spent their first day of recording in the A-Room of Revolution Recordings working on tracking drums and cello with their very talented and award-winning producer/engineer Laurence Currie, drum tech Johnny Rowe and Revolution Recordings Audio Engineer Stephen Koszler. There isn’t much more I can say about their day of recording other than I am pretty excited to hear the final product!  What’s next for the band? I have no idea! But, I have a good feeling Common Deer will be going on to do big things over the next year. Be sure to check out their website and follow them on all social platforms. They will continue to keep everyone up-to-date on their project and upcoming events and you’ll want to keep a close eye on this group of talented musicians.
