Brumar Engineering is an engineering firm based in Toronto, Ontario, providing mechanical engineering design services across commercial, industrial, retail, and corporate projects. Their work supports a broad range of clients throughout the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding regions, with a focus on collaboration, technical precision, and adaptable project delivery.
Brumar Engineering, working alongside Your Designer Ash, brought me in to create a suite of photo assets for the launch of their new website. This brand & lifestyle photography project focused on capturing professional yet approachable imagery that reflects Brumar’s expertise, collaborative team dynamic, and the balance between traditional and modern tools within their workflow.
The production included at-work lifestyle imagery and headshots, designed to be versatile across their website, social media, articles, and broader marketing efforts. The goal was to create a cohesive visual library that aligns with their brand while remaining adaptable across multiple platforms.

The scope of work focused on creating a collection of brand & lifestyle photography that reflects both the technical and human side of Brumar Engineering’s work. This included at-work imagery of the team in their environment, along with a series of headshots for use across their website, LinkedIn profiles, and company communications.
The production was designed to capture a balance between candid moments and more structured compositions, ensuring the final image set felt natural while still maintaining a polished and professional standard.
"Thanks. Received. Downloaded."
The approach focused on creating an environment where the team could work naturally, allowing moments to unfold without over-directing. Rather than relying on heavily staged setups, the production leaned into a more observational style to capture genuine interactions and a more accurate representation of the team’s day-to-day workflow.
This approach is central to how I work with companies, balancing structure with flexibility so the final images feel both intentional and authentic to the people and environment being documented.
The final image library has been integrated across Brumar Engineering’s website, LinkedIn profiles, and broader marketing materials, providing a consistent visual presence that reflects both the professionalism and personality of the team.
The imagery has also been used by Your Designer Ash across branding materials and presentations, extending its value beyond the initial website launch. This type of production supports long-term use, allowing the content to remain relevant as the company continues to grow and evolve.

Real experiences create something staged content cannot. When people interact naturally with a space, product, or service, the result is imagery that feels lived in, relatable, and far more meaningful to your audience.
